Inventory of Domesticated Orchid Species in Samaenre Village Mallawa District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia

Abstract The study aimed to determine the types of orchids from domestication in Samaenre Village, Mallawa District, Maros Regency which is included as one buffer areas Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. This type research a descriptive with purposive sampling method, only records maintained by community Regency. results showed that there were 26 orchids. 11 identified species level and 15 genus level. Orchids found are Acriopsis sp., Aerides inflexa, Agrosthophyllum Appendicula Apporum uncatum, Coelogyne celebensis, Cymbidium finlaysonianum, Dendrobium anosmum, crumenatum, striaenopsis, Eria Flickingeria Liparis Luisia Phalaenopsis amabilis, amboinensis, Pholidota Phreatia Robiqueta Spathoglottis Trichoglottis geminata, Vanda sp. most widely kept orchid striaenopsis. It shows society able domesticate natural various types.
